Marco Massarutto, Executive and Licensing Manager at Kunos Simulazioni, recently posted some preview images from the new Porsche DLC pack on FaceBook. Althoughthe images are a little cryptic and offer only glimpses of a couple of the expected 24 Porsches that will be available to players when the first DLC pack is released sometime in October, we can still get a feel for where the packs are headed. As previously stated, the 935/78 ‘Moby Dick’, 911 Carrera RSR 3.0, 917/30, Panamera and the LMP1 cars from 2015 and 2016 gives us at least 25% of the what we can hope for when the remainder of the list is revealed.
Originally scheduled for a September release, the Porsche DLC pack is shaping up to be every Porsche aficionado’s dream content for Assetto Corsa! The break down of the 24 cars is as follows: seven cars for each of the three upcoming DLC packs, plus one bonus car with each released pack, makes a total of 24 cars. Effectively, this means players will receive one free car (2016 Panamera, Cayenne and Macan) with each purchased DLC pack. When purchasing the Porsche DLC packs for the PS4 and XBOX One, the same premise will apply.
As with some of the other currently available racing simulation titles, Kunos will be offering a Season Pass, which will enable players the opportunity to purchase all DLC packs. As soon as there is more information on the remaining cars, rest assured we will update you immediately.
